I am so grateful a friend introduced me to this place. What a pleasure to browse through a fantastic selection of books and then sit down and have coffee and cake. This place is such a gem. Staff are absolutely lovely too 🫶🏽💙✨

I found this café recently and have since been coming back at least twice a week. Great flat white, cortado and cappucino and their cheesecake is one of the best I've ever had... Don't miss out on their weekend brunch - very much recommend the eggs benedict! Their book selection is well-curated and I could spend hours browsing in there. The owners are very friendly too so it's a very cozy atmosphere overall. Just one improvement: a small sofa on the left in front of the counter would make it even cozier ;)

Super nice staff, great selection of diverse literature, tasty drinks (haven't tried the food yet), cute vibe of the place itself! Also has events in multiple languages & book launches. Love having discovered this place in my Kietz.

I feel it is the type of place every neighborhood needs to foster its sense of community. I have not bought a book online since Metis opened: I love that the owners are available for recommendations and organize events in several languages. As if not enough, they serve delicious sweet treats and excellent coffee. More places like this one please!!

Lovely cafe and bookshop with multilingual selection. The San Sebastián cheesecake is my favorite, but everything is delicious. The owners and are lovely, and they also host literary readings and events - it’s worth a visit.

A hidden gem for book lovers and coffee souls. This café has the perfect blend of cozy atmosphere, thoughtful book selection and high-quality coffee. Whether you’re here to read, work, or just escape the noise of the day, it feels like a little pocket of peace. The staff is warm, the playlists are chill and the matcha latte? 10/10. Will definitely be back - next time with a book and more time.
