The staff and our waitress were really nice but the food could be better. And the place super cozy. We ordered the pork knuckle apart from other things, at first it was really cold in the inside, like it was frozen. Then they changed the plate for a new one, but it tasted old. Even so, the pork schnitzel was very good.

The staffs are super nice and foods are really good! The interior atmosphere is amazing as well! Strong recommended!

Hidden treasure. You don't expect this place to be so nice from the outside. Atmosphere is cozy. Food is good, generous portions. Beer is on draft and cheaper then in tourist routes in Karlovy Vary. But they most significant thing for us was their service. Exceptional and truly friendly. Already visited twice and coming back to the rest of our stay.

Probably the best kept secret in Karlovy Vary when it comes to dinner food. I could eat here everyday and never get bored, plenty of delicious dishes that I tried and still plenty more to try, all of them spectacularly delicious -- much better than any of the tourist trap 🪤 restaurants on the boardwalk. This restaurant isn't obvious to find, but be sure to try this restaurant, a few times, while you're here, it will not disappoint. There's nothing to recommend because all of the food on the menu is great. Service was nice. Interior decor is a medieval style ⚔️ without being kitch or gimmicky, it's done well and with class -- take a closer look at all of the prints and paintings on the walls 🖼️.

I had the duck leg confit with stewed cabbage and potato dumplings. The meal was terrible. The duck leg was partly cold and partly warm, clearly poorly reheated. The cabbage was oversalted, and the dumplings were not edible — they tasted like they had been cooked several days earlier. I have never had such a bad meal. The beer was good The service was equally poor. One girl was doing everything — hosting, waiting tables, and bussing. Overall, a very disappointing experience. My bad luck to end up here.

The elderly gentleman waiter is great. Friendly, polite and professional. Speaks English also. Great tasty food. Recommend. I recommend the duck with knuddeln and red cabbage. Also nice atmosphere, where local guests were also preset (photo shows purposely empty part). Nice calm music playing which creates a pleasant environment. Credit cards accepted. Unfortunately no tips on card, so make sure to take some cash :-)

During to our trip to Karlovy Vary we went to this restaurant given the nice reviews it had on tripadvisor. I confirm these reviews given that it's a nice resto with good atmosphere and great service. We ordered a deer gulash and a chicken stuffed with sausages. Both dishes were really nice, and especially the gulash! Along with 2 beers we payed approximately 450czk. Really cheap for the quality of the food. Visit: December 2015

The fried cheese I had (the only vegetarian option) tasted like frozen food (not sure it is, but it tasted like that) and the french fries were very poor quality. Also, the cheese come without anything, just the cheese and the sauce, not side that you need to ask for an extra. Very disappointed.
